This was my first holiday with this tour company and I was very impressed by the standard of the holiday. Karystos is a very pleasant resort, with some good restaurants, but is not over-commercialised. The hotel is good, though hot water did go missing for a short time! I had a room with balcony facing the sea front. There were tea/coffee-making facilities in the room and after a hard day's walking it was nice to sit on the balcony with a cup of coffee and watch the world go by. The walks were good with many fine views of both mountains and sea. The six members of the group got on well and we had enjoyable evenings sat outside restaurants drinking cheap local wine and chatting. I would certainly travel with this tour company again.

Excellent experience, visited many places that were amazing. Balkan tour was one of my best ExpatExplore experience.People are very welcoming towards the tourist.I enjoyed most of optional, except the Game of Thrones. I could have gone for cable car. Most of the locals tour guides were knowledgeable. However, local tour guide should be telling both sides of the coin. As a local tour guide, they should have mentioned all the must visit places regardless their polical ideology or faith.Our tour guide was very informative and friendly. We had so much fun. Included dinner were average, should have give bit more options. got excellent bus driver too. Overall excellent experience and highly recommended.

would give it 4.5/5 stars. I signed up for the 7-day absolutely greek (escorted) that consisted of 3 separate tours: a half-day Athens city tour, a 4-day Olympia-Delphi-Meteora tour and a half-day 3-island tour. PROS: 1. The tour company agents were always available and prompt in attending to my enquiries before and during my visit (specifically Alex and Thanasis). 2. The tour guides were knowledgeable and funny, especially George during the Meteora tour. 3. The hotels were great and met many new friends with whom I now still stay in touch. CONS: 1. The island tour was last-minute cancelled due to low participation. I do understand this is not entirely the tour company's fault as the weather was not great that week and it's the off-season. This happened just 12 hours before the cruise tour (it was the second-last day of my visit: and I felt pretty disappointed) and would certainly appreciate it if I had been informed earlier. However, the tour agents were quick to respond and helped me make alternative arrangements. I was still able to visit an island on my own. 2. Didn't have many lunch options for the Meteora tour.
