I do not often review my trips but I have to say from landing in Greece to the drop off leaving Greece I cannot say enough how great our trip was. Everyone and I mean everyone could not have done more to make our trip better. Thanks for making our Greek island bike tour so fantastic. BTW, the schooner was a magnificent ship. Our berth was better than one could hope for. The guides and crew really made this trip fantastic and also made us feel like we were the only ones they cared about.
This is an amazing way of seeing the highlights about these countries! If you are a solo traveler this won't be a tour you do with a group of people, you will meet different people only in the tours and your only way of contact with the organizer of the tour is via whatsapp, the organizer has many other trips so he won't be able to keep up as close with your trip but they provide a timeline so you can self guide yourself in many parts.
The trip to the Cycladic islands of Naxos, Paros & Santorini was lovely! We had a great group and our guide was the Lovely Cecile.
Although it was very, very cold and windy, the plus point was that the islands were very quiet from the overload of usual tourists. The walks were beautiful and the views were stunning. I'd much rather walk in Santorini during the quiet season than what I have seen (in pictures) during peak season.
Eating out every evening with the group was fun.
My only complaint was the accommodation in Paros. Frankly, it was shocking! I think I didn't expect this from Exodus. The room was freezing as the heating wouldn't work and the shower was leaky and broken. I think Exodus needs to rethink the accommodation in Paros.
If you fancy the islands all to yourself, even though it may be freezing, then give this holiday a try in March.
