This tour was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to experience Peru in a unique way and we received just that. By traveling through the backroads and highlands, we ventured through towns that barely had any tourists and lots of friendly locals. It was amazing to not be around too many tourists. When we reached Machu Picchu at the end of the tour, there were so many tourists and it made me really appreciate the quietness of the beginning/majority of the backroads and highlands tour.
Never been to South America before, but if the other countries in SA are half as brilliant as Peru, then I will have to go back. Everything from food to itinerary, accommodation, and overall arrangement was great. I could not have done this better myself, and it was nice to be able to lean back and enjoy, while our guide made sure we all had a great time.
