We had a great trip! Accommodation ranged from good to excellent. Breakfasts were included but some early departures resulted in them being missed. Transfers were good and on time. Andres at the tour operator responded quickly to our questions and solved a few problems for us. The itinerary was great. Although Santa Theresa was hard to get to (rough roads, long drive) it was fun to see. You get to see a lot of Costa Rica on this trip.
Rich in Nature - Pura Vida Our guide Armando really brought the group together. He was excellent! Our safety was his number one concern. He was truly an expert when it came to wildlife, birds and Costa Rican culture. This was an adventure packed week and educational as well! We even learned some history about the indigenous culture. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants a 'well-rounded' Costa Rica experience. You will experience the cloud forests, rainforests, dry forests, city and Pacific ocean. Make sure to pack your rain gear and swim suits.
It was a fun tour put together. The name of this tour pretty much is what says, in which you see many different waterfalls and forest areas around the Ricon de la Vieja National Park, Monteverde, and Arenal volcano near La Fortuna. Many activities were arranged to which you see these waterfalls and forest environments such as horseback riding, nightwalk to see various animals insects and reptiles at night, hikes, and rappelling. When these activities were done usually by noon, you have the rest of the day to yourself to explore around other sites or to just relax at your hotel. I enjoyed the week I had in Costa Rica doing this tour, and I would recommend anyone who wants a bit of adventure and relaxation to go on this tour.
