I traveled with my 21 and 13 year old sons. It was an amazing experience. The guides are very professional and made the trip fun, educational and even more memorable.
Awesome country, awesome company, awesome trek! I had a great time trekking. I originally was going to go to the Everest region, but my flight was cancelled due to weather. Shiva, the owner, was extremely helpful and accommodating. He made sure to get me to the mountains and trekking in the easiest and most convenient way possible. Though it cost me a little more due to the weather cancellations, the Poon Hill trek was worth every penny. It's no walk in the park, it's a tough trek, but the challenge through jungles, mountains, and hills make the great views worthwhile and a valuable memory! I highly recommend this trip.
Pure, modest and not commercialized trip Big THANK YOU to Arjun and his team who made our stay in Nepal unforgettable. If you are looking for very pure, modest, raw, not commercialized experience, that's the one. Very well organized and planned , but still with flexibility which gives this trip to be pleasant, not pushed and stiff. You have a plenty of time to explore the area , meet and eat with locals, become a part of their daily life even for a moment. The best part of my trip was the visit to Bhaktapur and Patan , medieval cities ,still destroyed from the earthquake, their local charm and gastro cousine . Very live scenes: artisans weave cloth and chisel timber by the roadside, squares are filled with drying pots and open kilns, and locals gather in communal courtyards to bathe, collect water and socialise. For sure, I'be back to explore the rest of the country and do another trek with hopefully nicer weather than we had this time. ( beginning of June).. Plan your trip in Nov. Dec. when visibility is better so you can enjoy the beauty of the mountains.
