I discovered traveling during my university studies. First, I spent six months in Lithuania and discovered the wonderful Baltic countries, followed by a few stays in the Balkans, and Scandinavia, and then three months in Scotland, braving the elements and the weather... Before finally discovering Iceland! Iceland was a solo trip I'd been looking forward to for many years, and which lived up to all my expectations. The Polar Lands fascinate me, I was left with unforgettable memories. I then decided to move to the Alps in France, to be closer to nature, and be able to hike and recharge anytime!

The raw nature and breathtaking landscapes of the far north won me over, and it's now with passion and dedication that I advise travelers about this region of the world.

Soizic's best travel experience

One of my best travel experiences is from August 2022, on a working trip to Iceland. After a long week working at our base camp, paced by earthquakes coming for the Reykjanes Peninsula, the news hit: A new volcano had erupted! The next day was my day off (luckily!) and after an amazing few hours on the Vestmann Islands, we got ready for the long hike ahead to the volcano.

We spent two hours walking through moss, rocks, sand, old lava... And finally, the most amazing sight I had ever seen and will probably ever see: an active volcano and its mesmerizing molten lava! A memory I will never forget.
