After a quick half-day warming up the bikes, it's out of the city to explore the mountainous countryside on two-wheels- where the real fun begins. A natural playground awaits within Northern Thailand's hill country, full of rocky river valleys and rustic rural roads to test the legs before the challenging days ahead.

Pushing inland, ride further north as the mountains terrain becomes steeper and the settlements more remote. Weave through small villages and hillside coffee orchards in the mountains, taking advantage of fantastic scenery that has somehow managed to remain undeveloped in fast-paced Thailand. The route reaches its peak in the small Northern city of Chiang Dao, before swiftly descending along fast cross-country trails on the outskirts of Chiang Mai. A final day of intense singletrack and exhilarating downhill wraps up this action-packed mountain bike tour of Northern Thailand.
