Great small group tour

5 - Excellent

The tour I went on with the local travel specialist was excellent. The small group of 10 people was a comfortable size. We travelled in a very clean van and our driver drove well. Our guide, Barry, spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable and helpful. The highlight of the tour for me was a visit to the Great Wall of China which I thought was amazing. I highly recommend Barry as a guide and touring with this agency.

An excellent introduction to China covering a number of the very diverse facets of the country. I am inspired to return to China to explore other aspects of the country. In particular the Great Wall trek. I would recommend travelling with a group, such as during the trips organized by this tour operator. It is not the easiest country to get about in. There is very little English spoken and most of the signs are in Chinese only. Our tour leader took care of interpretations.

Loved the tea ceremony at the temple

Lynn, the tour guide, was amazing! Felt like a relaxing morning walking around and talking to a friend. The insect market was very interesting, but the highlight for me was Confucius Temple and the Tea ceremony - its a must try while in Shanghai. Definitely recommend the tour!
