WALKING THE GREAT WALL

China's Great Wall looked just like it does in the books, but what the books don't capture is the sight of the wall stretching as far as the eye can see in either direction, i.e. its massive scale. Imagining life as it might have been in the days when the wall was manned by soldiers and with the trees cleared away on the Mongolian side was a real step back into history.

This trip covers many miles, many modes of transport, many different activities and many memorable sights. The itinerary is quite full without feeling too rushed. There is a good mix of history, culture (both new and old) and scenery. Overall it's good value, enjoyable and an experience I wouldn't want to have missed.

An amazing 10 day trip that was full of inspirational moments - breathtaking scenery and a varied itinerary meant that the time flew by too quickly! The group size at 9 was ideal, meaning we all fitted around one table and were able to discuss the days proceedings! Really great set of people too.
