The Mont Blanc 7 day trek was all that it was advertised as. Stunning views, excellent guide Elodie who ensured that the pace of the trek was suitable for all. The description of moderate to challenging was spot on, with some of the steeper sections falling into the latter category. Great mix of people in our group from different locations in the world, brilliant atmosphere. Accommodation was as described (twin room option worthwhile) and the food was varied enough through the week - picnics just right for lunch. You do walk the hours so being well prepared before you come on this trek ensured that we successfully managed the steeper sections. Great experience and very well organised.

Whilst it’s a self-guided tour, I felt supported out on the road. The bikes were very comfortable and the staff were terrific. Helmets were available for those who wanted them. The standard of accommodation was basic to good with the hotel in Chitenay being excellent.

The Tour of Mont Blanc was a brilliant holiday, and one that I will remember for a very long time. The hotels were varied but conveniently placed so that many could be walked directly to, rather than being bused to at the end of a hard walking day. The rest days were well spaced throughout the holiday. Our Guide/Leader 'Frank' was brilliant, making sure we had fresh produce for our lunch every walking day and that our evening meal was taken care of, taking into account vegetarians and someone who needed gluten free meals. Nothing was too much trouble for Frank. He pointed out and named all the peaks and glaciers that we could see whilst walking. On our free days he suggested places of interest we could visit. I had a lovely time. I couldnt get over the beauty of the Massif, I had to keep pinching myself just in case I was dreaming. Magical!!
