Overall a very good trip, dramatic mountain scenery with a good friendly guide called Suzie. Enjoyed using the local trains to get to starts of some of the walks, and particularly enjoyed the welcome breaks she gave us for bathing/paddling in the streams and pools as the weather was hot.Â

It was a very pleasurable bike ride with the odd hairy moment. The crew were fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious. All the other bike riders were friendly and helpful. I would recommend travellers to participate in a bike and barge.

As many have stated before, one of the best trips with countless superb views making it well worthwhile the walk uphill. Zohi's cooking skills lived up to expectation and we are still talking about our favourite meals a week after we returned. The duck in our last evening was a rare treat & the tarte au citron was one of the best ever tasted (and we've tried many). We were particularly lucky to achieve the Italian walk before the road was closed due to avalanche danger. The tunnel is a special highlight too.
