The WW1 Battlefields Tour was very well presented, we thoroughly enjoyed the backroads, the beautiful cemeteries and their history, meeting with gardeners looking after them, the towns supporting it, museums offering the history and stories behind this event. Our disappointment was the lack of access to some venues we expected to see as they were listed on the itinerary. Our accommodation and meals were of high standard, our hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

Chalet was lovely and hosts Jane and Colin just the best people. Cordial, hilarious, amazing chefs and always willing to lend a hand or correct you on your pronunciation of 'croissant'.. Loved them. Hot tub was very much appreciated after a long day trekking. Don't take this trip lightly, it can be pretty tough in places and would not grade this as Moderate but more Moderate - Strenuous. Don't let that put you off, it is a gorgeous trip in every way and you will hobble away from this feeling pretty damn wonderful!

The tour was exactly as described. Very fast paced which is to be expected if you are going to see 7 countries in 2 weeks. We really enjoyed the included itinerary and the options we purchased. I had pre purchased tickets for things that weren't included and if you are going to do that most have to be purchased well in advance. My bucket list is now complete! .A big shout out to Noddy (tour leader) and Mozzie (driver). Would absolutely use Expat Tours again!!!
