I travelled with my daughter and we were prepared for an on-the-go tour. Since it was our first tour, we did our best to prepare and there are some fine tuning to be done on our side for the next tour. We had a wonderful time. The group was great and our tour leader and driver did a marvellous job. They have been able to manage the expectations of everyone while sticking to the planning. Timing was crucial and Firo did a great job. Our Driver Chris had always a positive attitude despite him being stuck on the wheel the whole day.

Excellent communication, always kept in the loop while arrangements were being made. The accommodation was generally outstanding, very good value, especially considering that there is often not a great deal of choice. The route notes all very up to date, extremely detailed with lots of useful tips. However I didn't have to consult the map often as the trail was amazingly well marked. With all the logistics (accommodation, baggage transfers, meals) taken care of, it was easy to relax and enjoy the spectacular countryside. So much of interest to see en route!

An unbelievably beautiful part of the world, crossing corners of three countries each as beautiful as each other. Based in Les Houches, just 20 minutes outside Chamonix, we stayed in Chalet Chalupa, a modern, spacious comfortable chalet with all the amenities you would need and more. Big bedrooms, all with en-suite and most with a balcony. A hot tub outside for relaxing the aching bones after the walks just adds to the luxury. Whilst we were a bit out of Chamonix, the public bus service was excellent, every 30 minutes promptly. Equally, there is plenty on offer in Les Houches if you want to stay local to the chalet. Our hosts, Laura and Gonzalo, had treats to welcome us, provided breakfast, lunch (packed) and dinner of excellent standards every day (apart from the free day of course when breakfast is provided but not lunch or dinner). We didn’t go hungry!
