A thoroughly enjoyable week - spectacular walking with an interesting and varied group of fellow guests; very comfortable accommodation in the chalet; delightful and welcoming hosts (Sarah and Rich); fantastic food; easy access to the lovely town of Chamonix.

The 10 day Mt. Blanc Encompassed trip is planned out perfectly. The hiking is beautiful, and even with the strenuous climbs, there are plenty of places to stop for a break and ice cream on the trail. The mule was a great help to the group and much loved.

Our trip included a half dozen of the major chateaux and recommended lunchtime stops for authentic French meals. Hotels were all good although the Blois one was on opposite side of town from bike depot.
