Satisfies the desire to climb mountains on an island with a colourful history of bandits especially before the rule of its most famous son, Napoleon, without sacrificing the comforts of a family run hotel or the pleasures of the local village bar and bakery. Energy expenditure well balanced with time for relaxation and enjoying the pace of village life plus time to explore Ajaccio on day off.

A throughly good trip. The reason I haven't score it higher is my own experience (I became ill part of the trip-not caused by the trip!) meaning I missed some of the walks (fortunately as the region has good transport links I was able to do some optional excursions to make up for the lost walks). I would have scored it as 5 stars otherwise. However from what I saw on the walks I did do the landscape is stunning and the campsites are well placed and comfortable. The group was highly sociable as you expect from most Exodus trips. Any person who likes walking/trekking holidays should do the Tour Du Mount Blanc.

Hit the spot for group walking pleasure.

As a solo traveller and walker it always makes a wonderful change to quit the usual track of UK holidaying and go abroad to join a group. Walking on ones own is all very well but I do get that extra motivation by being in a crowd with a good leader. There is opportunity to socialise or be on ones own; however the walks were so good on this holiday that any omission would be detrimental to the pleasure of the entire holiday. Going to Greoux les Bains with this tour company was particularly pleasurable and worthwhile - for walking, culture and company. This is the first time I've been with this company and it will not be the last.
