Just returned home from this fantastic trip. We had fabulous weather which made it even more enjoyable. The scenery and views were brilliant and worth every puff and upward step to reach the top to gain them.

Apart from the heavy rain on the first day the weather was hot. The scenery has expected spectacular. The walking was more mentally demanding due to narrow trials and loose stones. Corsica is rather laid back so expect the trains to be late and full. Food is not as good as mainland France but plenty of it. Â

Our guide Arthur kept us interested throughout the tour with his excellent knowledge on the history and culture of Paris, showing us some less well-known spots in the city. The highlights of the tour were the cheese shop where we got to sample some French cheeses, and seeing the house of the Harry Potter character Nicholas Flamel.
