A Stunning trek - but you need to be prepared The Tour De Mont Blanc offers some of the most stunning mountain scenery that you will find. Exodus have put together an approach to the Tour which is effective and achievable. This camping itinerary keeps you embedded in the "great outdoors" - it is a real break from home comforts, which helps increase the sense of wonder at your surroundings. Make no mistake - there are some tough days, both uphill and downhill. You owe it to yourself and to the other members of the trek to be fit and well prepared. If you are, it will be tiring but exhilarating. Go for it!
We would like to let you know how much we enjoyed our recent holiday, "Rambling in the Luberon" and thank you for making the arrangements for us. The hotels, especially Le Mas des Romarins, were all good. We were glad we were able to stay at L'Auberge des Seguins, despite being in dormitory accommodation, as it was such an idyllic spot. The staff there provided superb meals, dinner, breakfast and packed lunches big enough for 2 days! The Road Book was extremely useful, the directions very clear and all the transfers worked well.
First, the crew and the tour leader were awesome. I had a couple of issues though with the road condition on a couple of the days. The roads were loose gravel and loaded with potholes, so you could never take your eyes off the road, just really couldn’t enjoy the scenery. We also had a day of very high winds, so be aware that you can get caught in the mistrials at some times of the year. My final complaint was the lack of bathrooms at our stops, and this company does not utilize a chase van, so if there’s a problem while you’re riding, there isn’t an easy solution available, which happened to us in the high wind day. Our boat was great, our dining experience was amazing, and our guide was top notch.
