Eight years ago I completed this trip with Exodus at the same time of the year. I considered my first trip to have been one of the best walking trips I had completed anywhere in the world. The trip just completed once again exceeded my expectations. It was the best trip ever! Magnificent scenery, a well thought-out itinerary and outstanding group leadership make this a very special trip.

The trip was very well organised. The bike routes were well planned and flexible enough for us to really explore the area. All the route instructions were clear to follow and the additional ideas for activities was very helpful. The hotels were lovely, the food was fabulous and we had a great holiday.

As many have stated before, one of the best trips with countless superb views making it well worthwhile the walk uphill. Zohi's cooking skills lived up to expectation and we are still talking about our favourite meals a week after we returned. The duck in our last evening was a rare treat & the tarte au citron was one of the best ever tasted (and we've tried many). We were particularly lucky to achieve the Italian walk before the road was closed due to avalanche danger. The tunnel is a special highlight too.
