The rolling hills of the Dordogne provided a beautiful location for this walk. It is important to have hiking poles and water-proof shoes, however, as there were several parts of the trail that were muddy streams during the May, 2024 time of our walk. Small villages, friendly cattle, horses, and donkeys, were really our only distractions, with the occasional dog letting its owners know we were passing. We saw deer, a fox, and even some boar raced by us. The instructions and GPS are very important to use together, and do bring blister bandages, just in case.

This was the perfect tour! We covered so much ground in a week and saw the most beautiful of places. I enjoyed the busy schedule and appreciated the amount of excursions, included and optional alike. My driver, RP, was amazing- I have no clue how anyone could drive a big coach bus that well! My guide Perci was knowledgeable, kind, and funny. He really made the trip. I loved my experience and will definitely book with expat again!

Tour du Mt.Blanc camping trek

Have recently returned from the Tour of Mont Blanc camping trek - led by John Briggs. The trek and itinerary was well organised, varied with a couple of challenging days at the end. John is an informative amiable chap who was well supported by his colleague Agglia who saw we were well nourished and hydrated. Fabulous views, well worth the effort, to be recommended.
