As this was our first walking tour myself and hubby didn't really know what to expect. Once we understood how to read the waymarkers it was pretty easy. You definitely need your walking notes though. Accommodation was great, no complaints. The Chateau was amazing to stay in and the dinner (we paid for) was superb. We stayed an extra night in Chinon to break up our trip and the extra night in Sarlat was just what we needed. Loved everything about this walking tour and are already planning our next!

Our bike barge trio from Aigues Mortes to Avignon was a great experience. Whilst I was reluctant to hire an e-bike, I was pleased we had as there were a couple of hill climbs that were challenging in the heat and very easy on an e-bike. Our guides were very organised - great company and leadership on the rides. I cant speak highly enough of Mikayla and Caterina!

Beautiful hikes in wonderful Chamonix! Charming chalet with wonderful hosts (Sarah & Rich) and great cooking! Not luxury accommodation, but ok for the purpose. Tt was the end of the season, so not perfect weather but good enough. Well-planned hiking week. The only complaint is the same breakfast and the same lunch bread & meats every day, no variation - as well as the coffee: I was expecting great darkroast French cafe au lait at the chalet, but was offered weak British-style () coffee.
