This was a most amazing trip filled with beautiful scenery, Greek archaeology and fantastic Greek food and traditions. The cycling was quite challenging (for me because I find hills difficult!!!) although I didn't have to get off and walk or push so it was 'do'able. However, the reward at the top of spectacular views and the tremendous exciting descents made it all worth while! Greek achaeology was everywhere, hotels were great and the food delicious. It was the perfect time to go as I have always visited in August before so we saw a Greece that was green, lush and covered in wild flowers of every colour imaginable. The aroma from the orange blossom should be bottled!!! Altogether, very enjoyable.

I was very lucky to be on the first edition of this tour in May 2024! It was great introduction to all the countries along the coast between Italy and Greece. Itinerary was the perfect mix of capital cities and seaside towns, with plenty of options for swimming, city walks, and visiting historic sites. Our guide Jude was passionate and knowledgeable about all the countries we visited, and about being a Topdeck guide in general and this really helped everyone get the most out of the tour!

The islands were amazing! Each has its own beauty, but I loved Crete because there is so much to do and visit. The people who organized the trip were very nice and the pick up and drop off was on time. In Athens and Mykonos, we arrived 20-30 minutes before the pick-up time. The local representatives were very kind and made us feel welcome. The hotel was nice and comfortable, but the hotel in Santorini did not live up to our expectations. There was a plumbing problem in the bathroom and the room smelled very bad. The shower was tiny. Some suggestions for further improvement: Please provide more information on how to know when the ferry will arrive. Mykonos is so chaotic and the ferry loading so fast was stressful. We almost got the wrong ferry and there are very few people at the port who can provide information. Overall we had a great time. I am always grateful for your help!
