Great cycling trip and super food This was our seventh cycling trip in Europe but our first with Exodus. It was up there with the best of our past trips. The bikes were good (brand new), the hotels as good or better than expected and the guides were excellent. We managed the climbs ok and felt increasingly confident as the week progressed. One of the nice things about this trip is being by the sea. A real highlight was the food organised by Niovi and Demetrius - the snacks, lunches and the dinners. Delicious, good value and time effective. We were a small group and all were good company. We recommend this trip!
Evia is a Greek island most people of never heard of but it has a central role in Greek history. You are literally walking through time. Comfortable family run accommodation and excellent food in local tavernas. This is a destination not spoilt by international tourism. The 'real' Greece. The walking is varied and most involve an ascent but also long descents. The weather in October was just the right temperature for walking although a bit chilly and windy for swimming.
Each island has its own beauty We chose to spend 10 days in Greece island hopping. We left Athens and visited Mykonos, Naxos and Santorini. The islands were amazing! Each of them has its own beauty, but I really loved Naxos as there are many things to do and visit. Generally, I am very pleased with the service provided. The people who were organizing the trip were really helpful, the transfers were also on time. The local representatives were very nice and welcomed us well. The hotels were beautiful and comfortable, except for the hotel in Santorini, which wasn't as expected. It has some problems with the pipes in the bathroom that gave the room a very bad odour. Just a few suggestions in order to become even better: give more information on how to know when the ferry arrives. In Santorini it was very chaotic and since the ferry loads quickly it is stressful. Overall, we had an amazing time. Thank you for everything!
