Walking on the Greek Islands If you want a lovely, leisurely, sunny trip with a great mixture of scenery, culture and gentle walks this is great.
There were only 9 people which was perfect.
Plenty of flexibility for free time and eating with the group or choosing to wander off on your own or in smaller groups. In June the weather was lovely, it started to get too warm for walking at the end of the week, so I skipped the last day to enjoy on the beach in Naxos.
Hotels were good standard, with pools.
The ferries can be slightly tedious, but an experience.
Great mix of 3 islands, of course whilst Santorini is touristy it is absolutely stunning.
This trip was absolutely awesome, even though things went a little wrong as it is living on a boat, top deck and the crew handled everything perfectly. We had issues on our first day with the boat and mechanic needed to fix something, our trip manager was making us lots of “welcome drinks” to keep us from concentrating on that! Even with strong winds the crew still found a lovely place for us to swim for the day. Absolute highlight of the trip was hydra! It was stunning! I would recommend walking as far up as possible early in the morning before the sun peaks over the mountain and gets too hot! *Pictured below*
The tour was so much fun and we packed a lot in, the only thing that the tour didnt include was Acropolis. We had an awesome tour guide that made sure my meal requests were put into the kitchens (vegetarian) Definitely recommend this tour, perfect amouny of relaxation as well as fun and cultural experiences!
