Fantastic experience riding around a bike riders dream in Holland - fantastic scenery and patient drivers and riders - also a sense of self achievement as a woman turning 60 next year who rode for five days by herself!
Our tour guide, Noddy, was full of knowledge about each of the countries we visited and she handled all the logistics like a pro. We had a very friendly and fun group so that really made the tour for me. We saw so much and had many epic adventures. I recommend this tour to anyone wanting a solid sample of Europe. Just keep in mind there is a lot of bus time.
No doubt about it, this tour is fast paced but you see and experience so much. Our tour leader Noddy and driver Mozzie were wonderful! Noddy was constantly arranging every little detail and counting to make sure we were all accounted for. Not an easy task when you have a couple of passengers who were notorious for wandering off. I would recommend dropping the first full day in London because most on the tour had arrived in London prior to the tour, to explore on their own, and to add a day in Venice. Venice was a favourite with everyone as was Switzerland and Bruges. All of our hotels were good and spotlessly clean although located outside of the city due to the size of the coach. We had a couple of glitches with our group meals in Switzerland and too rushed for our Munich beer hall dinner, other than that, the included meals were very good. We did all the optionals except Jungfraujoch, which we skipped because we live surrounded by mountains. Those that went thought it was awesome. The optionals were very good as the tour leader provides so much history and information that you would not get on your own. Yes, by the end you will be exhausted, but as our previous tour leader reminded us, as we groaned about early mornings, we did not come on the tour to spend it in hotel rooms. He was so right! Enjoy every minute of it, we sure did.
