A wonderful barge/walk experience, not to be missed! The service from UTracks was excellent. The crew were really lovely and food superb. The shower worth a mention - really good water pressure and a good size too. The walking took in amazing views of the canal, lochs and mountains, (I took so many photos!) and we had sunny skies all the way. Even the midges left us alone on the whole.

We had a great crew, loved the cook and his food. The cycling guides were excellent and very responsive to our needs. Even the weather cooperated. Scotland is very beautiful, especially the western islands. The local people are very friendly. If you are not a strong rider go electric since there are many hills on this ride.

Excellent daily walking, with options for the degree of challenge. The barge is really accommodating, comfortable, and well organized (salon and dining area were perfect, staterooms also very pleasant and fully equipped and clean), and the crew (chef, captain, guide, bosun) was knowledgeable and helpful and a lot of fun. We rented the full barge as a group of cousins mostly in our latter 60s and earlier 70s, and we all considered it a great experience, for being outdoors, seeing Scotland coast to coast, getting exercise, and spending time together, with everything thoughtfully arranged by the company and flawlessly implemented. We couldn't recommend it more highly. After months of expectation, all expectation were exceeded.
