This was our 4th Exodus trip, and second Cycling Vietnam trip (first one was in 2009). It was a chance to revisit fabulous Vietnam, as well as paying tribute to a recently deceased relative who was born in Saigon. It was an amazing couple of weeks with a great group of people.

Not nearly as active as you would think...

Vietnam is a beautiful country. I would 100% recommend visiting it and I will definitely do so again myself. This trip provides a good opportunity to attempt to squeeze the highlights of the whole country into just a fortnight. The activity levels however are a bit misleading. If you are thinking of booking this trip with the hope of some good trekking/kayaking/cycling etc., you will be massively underwhelmed with the overall activity levels - I would describe the trip as 'leisurely' and certainly not challenging in any way.

Xin chao The VC1L - 11 Days tour on 30 Sep 2023 was well organised and Expat Explore delivered on all they advertised. Tuan, our guide of the year, is a great representative for sharing his love of Vietnam, its people, culture and history. He was a wealth of information about the areas we were in, and good at following up with people and their questions. The tour was fun and exciting, the accommodation and food were great and travel to Vietnam is highly recommended. Thank goodness for the walking tours after all that we ate; it kept the weight off! Unforgettable adventure with our merry band of 13. Thank you Tuan - Anh Yeu Em
