Loved my trip. My 4/5 stars is nothing about the way the travel specialist runs the trip. It’s more about the pace, ground covered, and therefore limited time at any location. 21 days and that much distance left me feeling like we only got to see 2-3 hours of sunlight in some locations. Possibly cutting out a spot or two, or staying on faster, more well maintained roads, might help get to more locations quicker and with more time to explore.

Full on tour of Namibia, Chobe, Vic Falls and Cape Town which was enjoyed by my family of 4 , age range 16-53.
Should have taken season 3/4 sleeping bags for the camping as southern Namibia is cold at night in August!
The hosts Ande Andrew and Innoccent were efficient at running a tight ship.
Swimming in the cool pools of the Okavango Delta

It was hot and sticky. But swimming in the Okavango Delta, cruising on the Chobe River, seeing a multitude of birds and hearing hippos in the distance made up for the mild discomfort. We travel to get under a country's skin, experience the culture and local hospitality. Our trip to Matabeleland and visiting Cecil Rhodes' memorial was captivating; there in the wild, silent, rocky countryside, with lizards scurrying around and baboons barking in the distance was inspiring.
