Well organised, great to not have to worry about luggage, hotels were good, enjoyed the small family run lodges and then some great surprises such as in Linz and the Steinburger. Bikes were good. Food was good except at the Park inn in Bratislava.
Prague to Budapest bicycle It was a good trip. We rode about 30 miles/day, sometimes with hills (northern Czech Republic), but later fairly flat. The riders were in good shape. There were opportunities to rest throughout the day, having beverage/snack/lunch breaks. The lodgings were fine and clean. The breakfasts provided at the lodgings were very good & varied to suit most traveler's desires. There was good information provided as we traveled about the culture & history of the area. The other travelers were very friendly throughout the trip. It is a very good value for the dollar (or pound or Euro).
We enjoyed this trip a lot although at times the quantity of walking was challenging due to the heat. Good walking shoes, a ha, sun glasses and a water bottle were essential in the August sun and heat wave. City guides were knowledgeable and provided good introductions to the various cities, their culture and history, particularly the guide in Berlin. Two of the add-ons were particularly memorable: the concert in Vienna and the dinner cruise in Budapest. Our tour leader was friendly and did her best to accommodate individual needs.
