I had read the reviews of this trip before booking and would agree with all the good points mentioned in them as well and enjoyed the trip. But I think a few small changes could improve it even more.

We took this tour in Aug/Sept 2013 with 14 other mates. We certainly got a full measure of history, culture, architecture, and cycling as we visited ten cities and four countries in ten days. We scanned the web for tours and this best fit our desire to not spend the whole holiday on the Danube bike path. I give kudos to Exodus for putting this tour together – it hit a lot of ‘must-see’ destinations in one trip and was most memorable.

While the tour is billed as a “bike along the Danube”, you rarely see the river. The accommodation was good, and the staff very helpful. The GPS track needs to be updated for the last day into Budapest. Overall an ok trip, but not outstanding.
