Kilimanjaro Adventure with the BEST from Zara Tours Zara Tours recently organized a perfect trek with John Chitanda leading the best team with another guide, porters and a cook. The trek was not easy however we had great support from crew, very good equipment and an amazing cook who made sure we were well fed. The team took excellent care of al our needs. We were always safe! Standing at the summit of Kilimanjaro took our sheer determination and perseverance however I am very certain that we would not have made it without the support of this crew. Their experience on the mountain came in very handy as they knew the right time to push/rest/take it easy.Their company was also warm and kept us in great spirits. I have to recommend them with no reservations
Climbing Kilimanjaro with a group of & as a 68 year old Picked this operator online without any other source of information. Could not have been happier. Service was very prompt and courteous, prices were much better than US based firms. Safety was the primary concern with comfort a close second. Luxurious seems an odd word given the environment, but not far off. Rentals were first rate quality. Unexpectedly, got a birthday cake at 12000 feet for one of our party. Guides and porters were lovely people.
Nothing short of an epic adventure It was an epic journey to the top of Kilimanjaro via Rongai route. The trek was not easy and the support of the wonderful crew led by Yesse Lema was the difference that took us to the summit. We could have failed miserably without their support. The trail goes through the different habitats and as we went higher we had awesome views of beautiful landscapes down below and we confirmed the words of Mike our travel consultant that Rongai has the best views. I had mild Altitude sickness and the crew was at hand with herbal remedies that had me better within a short while. It was just me and my girlfriend on the climb which made it very intimate. Thank you for great equipment, tasty meals, all the water, bathroom convenience and above all the duty and care of getting 2 armature climbers safely to the summit.
