Everything was wonderful! From the very first email and phone call Steve and Katy were warm, reassuring, understanding, above all professional and obviously extremely well informed. A huge thank you to our guide Aldo who must be the kindest, most patient man on the face of the earth (and probably the best informed on the Inca empire too!) Everything on this trip was just wonderful, so much so that it has changed maybe forever my view on international travel I am already thinking about where our next family trip will be! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
It was an amazing trip, one of the best I've ever taken (right up there with my trek across Asia in 1990-91), and I'd have to say without question the best we've taken with the kids. I can't emphasize enough how much we appreciated Aldo and Oscar as guides, each great in his own way. Aldo is such a gentle spirit, an "old soul" in the true sense, and I especially loved what he taught us about Inca/Quechua spirituality and reverence for Pachamama. I think we all felt a bond with Aldo very quickly, and by the end he was part of the family. I felt no qualms trusting him with my children's safety on the trail, or anywhere else, which tells you everything you need to know.
Inca Trail September 2016 this trip is amazing from start to finish - it was a lot harder than I thought, however it was totally worth it. the Inca Trail was a life time want and having now achieved this I feel marvellous - our group of 8 were fantastic and made a lot of friends. From the moment we touched down in Cusco everything was organised and arranged for us - I cannot say much more than this trip is totally amazing and the views are absolutely spectacular - the Porters are such hard workers and to be honest really do not know how they do it. the 3 courses with every meal supplied was terrific and could not be faulted. Great Great trip amazing
