Fantastic Iceland Break

Although we were unable to see the Northern Lights due to the overcast conditions this did not detract from the fact that this was a real Icelandic experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. Excellent program of things do and see let by Orri our very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly guide. His knowledge of Icelandic history and Icelandic tales added to the enjoyment of the trip. The variety of the program and timings meant that we had lots to do and see avoiding more busy times of the popular locations. The hotel Laki which we stayed in for two nights was especially nice and well located.
Delightful Golden Circle Tour

We were completely delighted with our guide Torfi on the Golden Circle minibus tour. He was thoughtful, courteous, clearly communicating about each stop before so we would know what to expect. He was so knowledgeable about so many details of Iceland. From his personal experience being born and raised here to his complex detailed geologic knowledge made understandable, we were eager listeners. He patiently answered all our questions, time and again. Our party of three would recommend him with the highest praise. We were comparing notes with friends on a different bus and by far we had the best experience. And he was an excellent driver! Thank you Torfi!

Iceland has a magical landscape and warm and friendly people who clearly love and want to care for the environment they share as their home. The hiking is hard but oh so worth it. Most of the time we were on trails only frequented by sheep, not people so you truly earned the sights of the trip. Thora was the most amazing guide. Her love for her country and all it has to offer shines through her smile and knowledge.
