Had a wonderful time visiting Portillo and the Inca Lagoon Information was correct, communications spot on, pickup time spot on. Vanessa (our 'guide') was chirpy, cheerful, genuine, and with excellent English - thoroughly recommend her. The trip up to see 'the puddle' was half boring due to time and distance exiting the city (any city), but for those who appreciate geology - WOW. For normal people, it's a serpentine drive up to the lake and ski resort at 2900 meters - which would be great in the winter. When down the bottom again, the tour around the vineyard was interesting to see the investment involved in making wines, and some traditional techniques that produced some scummy wines (which of course we purchased). All said and done - a very pleasant, low key day that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed. WELL DONE!
I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a breathtaking journey to Chile, exploring its diverse landscapes and vibrant culture. This unforgettable trip took me from the bustling city of Santiago to the mystical Atacama Desert and finally to the serene beauty of Puerto Varas. Here's a review of my incredible Chilean adventure. The Atacama Desert is nothing short of a natural wonder, and it exceeded every expectation. It felt like stepping onto another planet.
It was all that was expected and more. The crew were fantastic and they were what made the experience. I would do another Drago tour if Rob, Tig or Rich were there. They were fantastic.
