just finished the japan tour and have loved it! the trip does a great job of immersing you in the culture and you learn so much about japan. the accommodation was amazing and i was impressed with everywhere we stayed, especially the night in the buddhist temple. the activities are super versatile and fun while also giving plenty of free time to explore on your own. our leader michelle was also so wonderful and made our trip run very smoothly- would recommend this trip for everyone! º¸
World Expeditions curated a fantastic introductory trip to Japan for us. In addition to exploring past/present historical/cultural highlights at some major cities (Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka), where we stayed in good hotels, we also hiked at Mount Fuji, along the old Nakasendo post road, and around the original capitals of Asuka and Nara, where we stayed in wonderful traditional Ryokens. Our Japanese guide smoothly managed in English a group with various ages, interests and fitness. The tour gave us broad exposure to Japanese food and traditions. We highly recommend the company, and plan to return soon.
Loved every minute of my 12 day tour through Japan. Jamie was a wonderful, information, fun and caring guide. The itinerary was wide and varied and not as rushed as I imagined. Watanabe our driver was so much fun but the safest driver. This is my 7th tour with Expat and I am sure that there will be many more. I totally recommend them.
