All the trip coordination was right on. We enjoy La Habana but were mostly grateful to our contacts there (Jose, Edi) who made sure to provide vouchers, information, recommendations on where to eat, The Factory of Art, etc. Our tour guide Brice was also wonderful, explaining to us all the historic points of the city while driving around in a classic car. Our trip to Trinidad was a long bus ride but well worth it. Ruben our host at the casa were we stayed made us feel right at home. He had a beautiful house and paid great attention to detail. Beautiful family! Luis our morning tour guide gave us a beautiful and true Cuban tour of Trinidad. The salsa class with Colorado and all the other young men and women was a lot of fun. Trinidad is a beautiful colonial city with a lot of charm. Took the bus to our next destination right around the corner from our casa. Arrived in Varadero with our host Nancy, a very nice lady with a lovely house. Her assistant, Odalisa, prepared wonderful breakfasts with sandwiches, eggs, fruit, juices, coffee. We went to enjoy the beautiful pristine, blue aqua beach five minutes from Nancy's house. I strongly recommend this Cuban experience to anyone.
I really enjoyed my travels in Cuba. We discoverd Cuba through local eyes, it was so much fun. We did some excursions in every town. And staying in casa particulares made our stay even more memorable. I could really recommend this trip.
Everything on the trip went very smoothly with a host of wonderful helpful casa owners. One thing that was a bit tricky was that our casa owner wasnt there to meet us on our last night in Havana. When we called the number provided, a lady answered who said they had nothing to do with the agency. We eventually tracked the casa owner down but it was some worrying moments.
