Thailand Experience was great value for money. Exactly what it says on the tin. The guide, Steve kept us updated and well informed especially before landing and embarking on the tour. Great communication day to day with what is expected on the itinerary. Only let down was as some of the group were not on the 14 day tour. On our last day we were unable to see our guide to get the complementary tshirts from the tour operator. All around great tour with a guide who knew what he was doing.
This trip was fantastic! Even though we didn't see many of the most famous views due to the cloud (there's always an element of luck where mountain weather is involved) it was still an awe inspiring place. The mountain scenery was dramatic and atmospheric in the mist and the lakes in Torres del Paine were the most beautiful shades of blue and turquoise that changed in the light. No two days of walking were the same, the landscape was varied and we never tired of seeing another glacier or the condors soaring above us again.
What a wonderful week offering a great overview of Sicily, its culture, history and people, not to mention food and pastries! We packed so much into the week, always something new and unexpected, each day having its particular wow factor.
