Views of Torres Del Paine and Mount Fitroy are breathtaking. We were very lucky with weather throughout and the trekking was very enjoyable with scenic views at every turn. My inspiration for going was pictures of TDP and it didn't disappoint. However, Mount Fitzroy is just as impressive - if not more so. Overall I didn't think the walking was overly demanding (weather helped of course) and am surprised it was a 5 rating. I believe next year, the real tough day is being split into 2 days?

I had trained in anticipation for this trek by doing several hikes with roughly the same weight I'd be carrying in Torres del Paine. I also had completed a half marathon in Patagonia so I was acclimated to the elevation. I'm very glad that I had the training before hand. It made the trek more enjoyable and I was able to keep a good pace.

The team personalized an amazing 9 day trip to El Calafate, El Chalten, Argentina and Puerto Natales in January-February 2020, taking care of all the logistics (hotels, transfers and tours). We wanted a balance of independent travel and organized small group tours so Karen arranged just the right combination. My only wish is to have stayed a day longer at each town. We did our own day hikes from El Chalten and guided day hikes in Torres del Paine and a day tour to Perrito Moreno Glacier.
