The geographical and wildlife diversity of Costa Rica is immense- a real treasure of a country. This trip certainly delivered in giving me an idea of its beautiful scenery and the wildlife therein. It left me wishing to revisit the country to see and experience more. My travelling companions were are bonus - we all knitted well and shared a great enthusiasm for everything. The Costa Ricans I met were engaging, helpful and enthusiastic about their country and what it had to offer.

This 16 day trip in November 2017 covered much of the Costa Rican countryside and was focused on bird watching. It was very well organised, tour leader (see below) was excellent, accommodation and food were fine. We stayed in 6 lodges close to or within National Parks on both the Caribbean and Pacific coasts. We saw in excess of 250 bird species including the Resplendent Quetzal. It was everything I wanted and more. Thank you.

I cannot say enough about Oldemar and his team. We bought our plane tickets and thats it! They handled everything else for 15 days!!! We visited Tamarindo, Monteverde, La Fortuna, Arenal, Tortuguero, Puerto Viejo and San Jose. We were there in rainy season, and had private van transfers to each location. Oldemar, Pablo, and Oscar were especially amazing Costa Ricans, and we met countless others. We had dozens of transfers, adventure boat rides, excursions, day and night hikes, horseback rides to waterfalls, nature hikes, zip lines, hanging bridges, and a special late night trip to watch the giant sea turtles lay their eggs. Amazing!!! CRs are very proud that their teachers and professors are their army, since theyve had no military in over 70 years. Education and health care are free. They have between 3-6% of the worlds biodiversity - birds, snakes, frogs, monkeys, sloths, and so many more. Pay attention that the rainy season means it rains (sometimes HARD) and is very humid! What a wonderful trip!! You can trust this company 1000%
