I love to design memorable vacations for families, groups of friends and honeymooners. When I hear travellers say phrases like "the trip was wonderful beyond my dreams", "I went back home a different person, I have grown physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually", "a job well done, my friend" and "that was the best time of my life" I am reaffirmed as to why I feel so passionate about my job. Working in tourism for more than 20 years has provided me with an extensive knowledge of the country. I have helped so many clients over the years and have quite a following of clients who return again and again. Many also refer me to their friends and family. Because of my long years in the industry, I can recognize how these days more and more people are opting for active and physical lifestyles, and the attitudes towards vacations have changed. I am also a dog lover and enjoy spending my free time with family and friends!

Hi! My name is Ellen Zoe and I've been living in Costa Rica for the past 19 years. As a retired publicist from the entertainment industry, I have loads of experience catering to the needs of people. I also know how to put those skills to good use and make the best possible vacation trips for my clients. I've also travelled all over Costa Rica and experienced the hotels, the tours and all kinds of transportation, so I know exactly what to recommend to give our clients the best Costa Rica vacation package possible. In my free time, I take advantage of living in Tamarindo on the Pacific northwest coast. I surf, run, take yoga classes, read, relax and spend time with my friends, usually eating at one of the best restaurants in town. I also love travelling around and seeing new places. This country continues to amaze me with its diversity!

I grew up in the mountainous region of Tarrazu, where the best coffee comes from and where you'd find the only wine estate in Costa Rica. My first job was as a receptionist at a mountain hotel and then I worked for a travel agency in San Jose. While there, I began my studies in tourism management. I fell in love with the industry and all the amazing experiences I had, and now I’ve already been in the industry for almost my whole life! Over the last years, I have traveled to many destinations around Costa Rica, like beaches, volcanoes, and rainforests and I love that I can offer these amazing experiences to people from around the globe. Apart from my own beautiful country, I have traveled to many different places such as Nicaragua, Panama, and Colombia. I like learning about different cultures, languages, and lifestyles, which gives me a strong base to connect with different people all around the world.

I was born in Turrialba, a region in Costa Rica famous for hosting the Guayabo Archeological Monument, the oldest and most important pre-hispanic archeological site in the country. Turrialba is also known for being the most active Costarican Volcano, and home to one of the best rafting rivers in the world— the Pacuare River. Since I was little I liked to experience new places and cultures. When I grew up and studied tourism, I felt that people around the world should be allowed to know the wonders that our country has to offer. I have discovered many places, from mountains, beaches, and national parks to cities and the countryside. I love adventurous activities such as zip lining, canyoning, rafting, climbing, and horseback riding. I have the experience of having done most activities that Costa Rica is known for, so I can help travelers make the most of their time so they can have an unforgettable experience!
