A really enjoyable trip with plenty of cycling and with options to increase on certain days if you have surplus energy. A great way to see 3 countries in 2 weeks. Sometimes the cycling was quite challenging - particularly some of the muddy trails in Nicaragua ( which were great fun) and some of the hills in Costa Rica. Weather was varied . Sometimes really hot and humid and sometimes very wet due to rainy season . So be prepared and keep changes of clothes close to hand. Raft ride was great . Guides and support team were great . Nice balance between open evenings and meals as a group . Highly recommend this trip

What a fabulous trip. I'd visited Costa Rica before, but this trip truly concentrated on the wildlife and the country has so much to offer. We saw so much and some of it very different - frogs, snakes, spiders, beautiful butterflies, stunning birds, dolphins, humpback whales, I could go on and on. I also thought I'd see a sloth, but we saw so many, it was wonderful. I had read mixed reviews about some of the accommodation, but I thought it ranged from good to excellent. Where the hotels were merely good, the relative lack of tourists more than made up for it. The food included in the hotels/lodges was also of a very high standard...it would have been difficult to go hungry!

Absolutely amazing trip of a lifetime! Antonio (our guide) was so knowledgeable on all the birds and wildlife we saw. He spent extra opportunities with us, getting up extra early in the mornings to watch the birds and never tired of us asking questions or identifying species. We were so lucky to have marvellous weather throughout the trip and each region had it's own wonderful setting and range of birds and wildlife. A truly spectacular trip - fabulous food and hotels. I didn't want to do the long walks, so was able to spend time around the pools or lodges etc just focussing on the birds and wildlife. Exceeded all my expectations. Glad I chose to travel through Madrid and not America as we had an early start the next day. Iberia not a great airline, but the US ones are just as bad. Highly recommended! This was my first trip with this tour company and classed as 'leisurely'. Lots of walking for those who are keen, but as mentioned above, you could choose to not do long walks. Lots of long journeys on very bumpy un-made roads, so not for the faint-hearted! But the reward is seeing so much of this diverse country and all the wildlife.
