The first time I have used Exodus (or any organised tour), This holiday lived up to all my expectations. Costa Rica is a beautiful country and DCR allows you to see a great cross-section - the two different Coastlines, rainforest, cloud forest, meeting local people, and of course lots of wildlife - day and night time, and a lot of birding. The accommodation was very good, the food delicious and lots of. It is a leisurely paced trip.

We were very impressed with our tour across Costa Rica. Our trip leader Juan Carlos and his support team were well organized, knowledgeable, and fun to spend time with. They also kept us well fed with delicious meals and snacks, most of which were made from scratch. The logistics behind this trip were more than I had expected, switching back and forth from hiking, biking, rafting and kayaking, but we never had to wait to continue our next leg. Thank you to the folks at World Expeditions for setting up our trip.

We drove some 1,300 miles (or was it kilometres) in two weeks, travelling every second day so quite a lot of time was spent on the bus albeit with regular stops. The country is very varied with distinct geographical zones.
