As in the meaning of Costa Rica (Rich Coast), this trip showed our group the beautiful details offered in the country. The country is renowned for its "1000 needles" of all types creatures, and no matter how big or small they were, they were definitely worth seeing. This trip is for those who wish to see or spot wildlife, walk in the rainforests and don't let a "little" rain get in the way.
Been there done that.... and ready to do it all over again!

Had a time of my life waking up to howling monkeys, birds singing, tropical fruits/flowers, lush scenery at our doorstep....while climbing hills that of course were challenging at times, but that was part of the excitement. I am eternally grateful for the joy this trip bought me. Still smiling when wake up in the morning as I can't beleive I can say .... been there, done that and happily do it again! Pura Vida to all the lovely people in Costa Rica.

Absolutely amazing trip of a lifetime! Antonio (our guide) was so knowledgeable on all the birds and wildlife we saw. He spent extra opportunities with us, getting up extra early in the mornings to watch the birds and never tired of us asking questions or identifying species. We were so lucky to have marvellous weather throughout the trip and each region had it's own wonderful setting and range of birds and wildlife. A truly spectacular trip - fabulous food and hotels. I didn't want to do the long walks, so was able to spend time around the pools or lodges etc just focussing on the birds and wildlife. Exceeded all my expectations. Glad I chose to travel through Madrid and not America as we had an early start the next day. Iberia not a great airline, but the US ones are just as bad. Highly recommended! This was my first Exodus trip and classed as 'leisurely'. Lots of walking for those who are keen, but as mentioned above, you could choose to not do long walks. Lots of long journeys on very bumpy un-made roads, so not for the faint-hearted! But the reward is seeing so much of this diverse country and all the wildlife.
