Cycle Trip - Prague to Budapest

A very good trip for our small group of 7. We averaged about 60km of cycling per day and that was ok, except when it got windy and we had a couple of wet days, which slowed progress. The group got on very well and we did experience different levels of cycling capability, so there was some waiting periods for some, but no-one worried about this.
Day planning was excellent with the guide co-ordinating things well.

While the tour is billed as a “bike along the Danube”, you rarely see the river. The accommodation was good, and the staff very helpful. The GPS track needs to be updated for the last day into Budapest. Overall an ok trip, but not outstanding.

This has turned out to be one of my favourite trips with the tour operator. Packed with beautiful scenery, fascinating history and varied riding to suit everyone, it's a real treat. Jan, our guide - supported by the ever-smiling Hynek and Lubos - made everything run brilliantly and created a really fun trip for us.
