Prague to Budapest bicycle It was a good trip. We rode about 30 miles/day, sometimes with hills (northern Czech Republic), but later fairly flat. The riders were in good shape. There were opportunities to rest throughout the day, having beverage/snack/lunch breaks. The lodgings were fine and clean. The breakfasts provided at the lodgings were very good & varied to suit most traveler's desires. There was good information provided as we traveled about the culture & history of the area. The other travelers were very friendly throughout the trip. It is a very good value for the dollar (or pound or Euro).
A fantastic tour which was very well organised from start to end. It was a tight tour but given the number of destinations included, it couldn't have been sliced any better. Tour leader was friendly and knowledgeable too. Only gripe we have is that we were a couple but we're provided rooms with separate beds. Something that should be a consideration when booking accomodations. But overall, thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We went to places offering local cousines which were all delightful. Will certainly travel again with Expat.
We went on a tour with his company. We learned about it from the Marriot Budapest Concierge. Gyorg Molnar (George) was our guide. He is an amazing historian and speaks many languages. He is a very learned person who was kind, friendly and fun. And, a very easy person to be with. Thanks, George!
