Amalfi; 14th - 21st June 2014 From our first meeting of our group leader, till the final goodbyes to the troops at Naples Airport, was an experience we shall never forget. The holiday was well organised with regards to the walks and the trips. The food and drink was of a very high standard, the hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. This was the first time my partner and I have been on a walking holiday, we would certainly go again.
Fabulous small group tour This was a really great tour of the Amalfi coast. Our tour guide Enrico was amazing and knew so much about the area, restaurants and more! He made sure everyone was ok and had what they needed. Every day we walked to a different town. Be prepared... Hundreds of stone steps.... But all so beautiful!
My family had a tour of Europe last August 10 to 24, 2019. At the end of the tour, an evaluation form was distributed by our Tour leader. May l suggest that such form should be filled up at least online. A fair and thorough evaluation can be made without the presence of the tour leader and driver involved. In case of a negative evaluation, the tour leader should have no access whatsoever to the evaluation because he or she may deliberately censor or withhold the information of what his or her management should know. We recently had a bad experience on this tour and we did not disclose the information because we feel that the form may not reach the hands of management if we honestly wrote what should have been written. I am referring to the bad treatment we all received from our Tour leader, Antonio. He humiliated us all on our dinner at Rhinelust Hotel in front of the other guests in the hotel. He told us to proceed to the serving area of buffet when he suddenly yelled at us and told us: "who told you to get your dinner?". We were all shocked with his rude behavior. It dawned upon us that he was concerned with his "cut" (money) of drinks to be served. Management should be made aware of these shameful practices. Whenever we visit a place he referred to, he receives a "favor" like at a leather factory. If ever we avail of your next services, we would rather not be under Mr. Antonio. Thank you.
