Well run and organized. Noddy was an amazing guide to Italy and picked excellent local guides. She warned us at the start that this wasn't a relaxing vacation and she was correct. There is a lot of walking and long days so be prepared. However it was definitely worth it as we got to see so much in such a short time.
It was my first multi-day hiking adventure, and initially, I hesitated, unsure if it was the right choice for a beginner like me. However, it turned out to be an absolutely wonderful experience. Thanks to our exceptional guides, Rob and Jenny, along with a fantastic group of fellow travelers, this journey became truly unforgettable. A heartfelt THANK YOU to Rob and Jenny for their expertise, knowledge, unwavering support, and uplifting encouragement.
Spectacular winter walking We had a fantastic week snowshoeing in the Dolomites. The scenery was amazing and the walks varied each day. We were lucky to be accompanied by a lovely group of fellow snowshoers and Jeffery our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and very well organised. The hotel Adler is a treat to stay in with a huge choice of breakfast to set you up for the day and a substantial evening meal. Walking in snowshoes is not technically difficult but when you sink into deep snow it can get a little tiring although it is also very amusing! We were lucky to have some fresh snow at the start of our holiday and then blue skies for the rest of the week. The walks are at an altitude where I should imagine there’s usually snow but sometimes you need to wear micro spikes rather than snowshoes. The days are full and are all in different locations so you get to see lots of stunning views.
