Cycling the Southern coast of Sardinia The scenery was outstanding and June was the perfect time to go - hot, but all manageable. Most of the group were perfectly happy with the off- road cycling, but we didn't take to it so well having really only ridden on Tarmac at home. Having said that, the vast majority of the cycling was on the road and the coastal hills and downhill runs were more exciting than difficult. Our guides were very caring and worked really hard to make sure we had everything we needed.
7 countries in 10days?! Yep! Its a fast phased tour but well thought of, well planned and organized! Very affordable and reasonable price for Decent hotel accomodations, included meals and included experiences ( water taxis, boat rides, etc)! They have seasoned drivers and experienced tour guide! Which means, when unforeseen circumstances happen ( traffic, bad weather etc) your crew will have plan A, B, C etc. in order for travelers to get their money's worth! The tour schedules highly depends on the travellers. Since you travel in such a big group (we were 40 at the time) you have to be very mindful and respectful of others time and schedule. It only takes ONE late comer (worst, consistently late!) to screw up your day. We had such a wonderful time with expat explore tours! Looking forward to travel again with them someday! I would recommend Expat explore to friends and family!!
Fantastic snowshoeing and amazing views We had a really amazing week in the Dolomites, it was hard work but with huge rewards. Being in the mountains most walks started up, up up and ended down, down, down. But we had some truly amazing views of the Dolomites and Alps and the hospitality in the many Mountain huts was much appreciated. Hotel Adler was very comfortable and the staff were very accommodating for a variety dietary needs (vegetarians, nut allergies etc)
