This was a superb trip - wonderful walks with stunning coastal views, lovely accommodation, food and drink and great tour guide (Michela). I wholeheartedly recommend it - just beware that there is plenty of up / down climb in the walks, especially the steps +++ down to Amalfi. It was great to visit Pompei and Herculaneum, both fascinating sites and we were lucky enough to have Hectore as our site guide. It was also worth doing Naples for pizza and the museum - we did this on our last day. Michela was really helpful in maximising the options that members of the group chose. Great job Michela and Exodus.
This is an easy introduction to trekking, mainly leisurely walking but with the occasional uphill sting in the tail. Very do-able but please make sure you have at least some basic fitness. Our group was fantastic, everyone dovetailed and good friends were made. The walking days were interesting, it wasn't just a trek, there were points of interest and the local history, particularly the First World War was fascinating. Obviously Prosecco plays a part. The vineyards and the tastings were varied. If you enjoy Prosecco you will not be disappointed.
What an amazing time!!! I think if I travel again I’d like more time than one full day in each city, but I absolutely made the most of the time we had. Our trip leader Maddy & bus driver Dan made the trip SO great, Maddy is incredibly knowledgeable, gave excellent recommendations as we reached each city, made the walking tours both informative and fun & was great at making our checkins/outs & extra activities run smoothly. Dan had some great recommendations too and got us all from A to B safely every travel day. Hostels were all decent, clean & comfy beds and (other than hu Rome), convenient locations. Oh! And we had only 23 people on our trip so we all got extra space on the bus 👌
