We were picked up by a driver and a guide. We had comfortable ride with them. Guide was knowledgeable. Tour was really nice actually. Company owner, guide and driver were very friendly. However, we found the tour a bit pricey(although it was cheaper than other similar tours). Because we also paid for entrance fees for the sites. So whole tour costs your 180-200 USD and I don't think that it should cost that much.
Adventurous and Thrill Experience in Mera Peak My trip to Nepal turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences I ever had. I already visit more than three times in Nepal for trekking, especially in Everest and Annapurna Region. In this time, Me and my friends want to climb Mera Peak. In Australia, We climb Mt. Kosciuszko which Australia's highest peak just 2228 m. It too small compare the Nepali mountain. Mera peak 6476 m more than double in height of Mt. Kosciuszko. This challenging and exciting experience for us. So, We decide climb Mera peak with our organizer Nepal Guide Treks. Our guide Ang Dawa Sherpa is a lot of experience in Nepal himalayan region. He climbs more 10 times Mera Peak. so, We are happy to get experience guide with immense knowledge of Mera peak. He told us a lot of things about Mera peak and Nepali mountain. First, I felt difficult to trek continuously more 6-7 hrs daily. But our guide motivates to us, that helps to push our limit. At last, we successfully climb Mera Peak and above top of view is beyond our imagination. Seeing most beautiful panoramic views of Everest, Makalu and other himalayan range. Thanks, Our guide Ang Dawa Sherpa and porter Rabin helps a lot in this trip.
The trek of ten days was a little bit too strenuous for us, maybe due to our age (55 and 60 y). It would have been better to plan a resting day after 4 or 5 days trekking. The last two days to the ABC were risky because we had to descent for 1000 meters both days and that is in fact too much because of the risk of altitude disease. And indeed, one of us got ill in ABC and we had to go down immediately. And that was a pity. The trek itself was beautiful and we enjoyed it very much. Maybe a little bit too much rain, but that's 'force majeure'.
