Traveling has been my passion for a long time and I have always loved exploring new places. I have visited several places in my home country, Nepal, and over 30 other countries! Adventure is another of my passions, and in following this I have gone skydiving, scuba diving, and paragliding in many different countries. I was an adventure tour guide myself for a couple of years, and during that period, I was able to explore the spectacular Himalayas of Nepal. I have a master’s degree in development studies from the largest university in Nepal, and I currently operate a tour company in Kathmandu. I love being a part of this highly-rated (and loved by our customers) adventure tour operator! As a tour operator, I work to produce perfect tour programs for our customers worldwide. I love designing new holiday itineraries and suggesting them to customers according to their needs, interests and preferences.

I am from the country of the Himalayas — Nepal. I grew up in a remote village in the Gorkha district and from an early age, I had a keen interest in traveling to different places. Once I completed my schooling, I set off trekking the famous destinations in Nepal including Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Valley, Langtang, Annapurna Base Camp, Annapurna Circuit, Upper Mustang, Poonhill, Mardi Himal, Manaslu and many others. I love traveling around the mountains and interacting with the cultures and lifestyles of different regions. The more I trek, the more I feel like going back to the mountains. A tour operator by profession, I joined my company at the beginning of 2014 to help other people find the best destinations in Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan. It's my pleasure to assist people and to share with them the spectacular views of the mountains, the amazing wildlife and the unique heritage, cultures, and traditions of Nepal.

I grew up in a tiny little village northeast of Kathmandu. The village is on the traditional route to Mount Everest, where Sir Edmund Hillary would have passed by on his epic 1953 journey. There is something about being born in the high Himalayas that keeps the traditional lifestyle and culture of the remote lands of Nepal very close to my heart. When I was young, there was no secondary school in my village, so I would walk three hours every day just to go to school. At the time, I didn’t know that walking is also called ‘trekking’. Walking several hours every day, hiking up and down in the hilly region of Nepal was just a normal daily activity for me. Because there were not many educated people in my village, our school employed teachers from different parts of Nepal. I had an opportunity to learn about their home villages, which made me keen to visit and explore different parts of Nepal. After I came to Kathmandu to continue my studies, I started a career in travel and trekking. I started as just a trekking porter and guide, and now I have my own business! I would be pleased to help you plan a memorable holiday in my beautiful country.

My name is Lokesh Gurung and I have been working in the travel industry for the past 7 years, helping travelers from all around the world plan trips to Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet. My educational background is in commerce and management, but the allure of travel pulled me into this industry. Aside from travel, I love to read and watch movies. Everest is my favorite place to visit, and where I first had the awe-inspiring experience of walking among the Himalayan giants. Here I realized where I stand in the grand scheme of things. I love to help others by planning and organizing their trips. For many people, coming to Nepal is literally their once-in-a-lifetime dream trip. Seeing clients have unforgettable experiences and make amazing lifelong memories motivates me to be here.

Hello, my Name is Nil Hari Bastola but you may call me Nilam. I have been a tourism professional for over 24 years now. From a very young age, I had the desire to share and show my beautiful country, Nepal, to the rest of the world. I started working as a mountain porter helping the few tourists who came to Nepal have a great experience in the mountains. During this time, I learned the tips and tricks on how to guide clients through the country. Soon, I started working as a professional mountain and trekking guide and finally was able to show my country to the rest of the world. For over 14 years now, I have been running my company to serve only the best and most unique travel experiences possible in Nepal. In order to give my clients the best experience possible, I have visited and explored all parts of Nepal. Personally, I believe that I cannot offer any destination I have not been to myself and I can only give the best experience based on my own experience and expertise.

I was born in Khatri Gaun, Nepal, and spent my early years in my village until I moved to Kathmandu in 1998 to pursue further education. There, I completed a Bachelor's degree in Humanities, specializing in Culture and Tourism. My career in the tourism industry, especially trekking, began in 2001 as a trekking porter and office assistant. I gained valuable experience working as a porter for 3+ years, leading to a role as an assistant guide. I then spent 13 years as a lead guide, traversing the breathtaking Himalayas of Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan. In 2017, I took a significant step and established my own company, which I own and operate today, providing excellent service to tourists visiting both easily accessible areas and remote wilderness. This venture allows me to share my passion for the alluring Himalayas and my extensive knowledge of the region with adventurers from around the world. I've had the opportunity to visit several countries, including Tibet, China, India, Hong Kong, Japan, and various countries in Europe. These experiences have broadened my horizon and perspective, enhancing my ability to connect with groups of travelers from different geographical and cultural backgrounds.

Ever since I was little, travelling has been my passion. Sharing my travels and experiences with others has been my professional motivation ever since. From a young age, I started travelling around the world and meeting people from all corners of the globe. I first travelled to Nepal while I was studying for my bachelor degree in international tourism management, and started working for a local travel agency there. Since then I have been creating holidays for people around the world with the intention of sharing my amazing travel experiences to the rest of the world. I have travelled to Nepal many times now and have also visited some of the most remote areas of the country. I have been very grateful for these experiences and am very happy to share this with other travellers.

My name is Sujan and I was born in Gorkha, Nepal. I developed an interest in tourism from a young age and began my career in this field in 2002. I have a master’s degree in business management and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in tourism. My hobbies include hiking, trekking, climbing, participating in various sports, and watching movies. I have a passion for traveling and enjoy helping others plan and book their trips. I love that the tourism industry is a growing sector of the global economy, providing jobs and income for millions of people, while also playing a role in preserving natural and cultural heritage sites and promoting sustainable development. I believe that travel can be an exciting and enriching experience for people as it allows them to experience new cultures, landscapes, and ways of life. It can also be an opportunity for personal growth, self-discovery, and broadening understanding of the world.

As a child, I lived and travelled the length and breadth of India and Nepal, which made me comfortable in many environments. I also had a very disciplined upbringing; my father was a retired general in the Indian Army and thus timing, discipline and punctuality are like a second skin to me. I grew up extremely confident and passionate about a whole lot of things, and I am still that way now. Climbing, for one, is an activity that is close to my heart and I have climbed to 7100 metres! I’m an avid Supebiker and as a youngster also designed motorbikes and did a roadshow on BBC about the same. I was also a passionate DJ in my early years. I'm a specialized landscape and wildlife photographer, something I’m deeply passionate about. I am also into fitness and train 6 days a week. However, despite all of these interests, I never lose focus of my real passion...travel. Travel is something I've done for over 30 years now.

I am John Shrestha, a travel entrepreneur as well as an explorer, and I would love to take you to the awesome and iconic corners of Nepal and Bhutan. It is my pleasure to welcome you to such a beautiful place that people across the world want to visit. Before I stepped into all the famous trekking regions of Nepal 10 years ago, I worked for a non-profit social organization. I wanted to become familiar with the social issues of people who needed love and compassion. Looking at their needs, I realized that I must do something to help. So, I set up a trekking agency to earn revenue to help people. I had worked before as a freelance trekking guide and some of the people I worked with became my motivators and encouraged me to open a trekking agency. I have a passion for travel and I love nature. I have traveled with people coming from around the world and I gained experience in organizing treks as well as in preparing itineraries. I love meeting people who come from different cultures. I am also a travel photographer and in my free time, I like to do marketing for my company. The rest of the time, I am a full-time trekking guide, certified by the Tourism Board of Nepal.

I grew up in a rural village in the Gorkha district of Nepal, in very a remote place that did not have the accessibility of roads and vehicles. Walking miles for hours (what we call hiking these days!) was a regular part of my childhood. After high school, I had the ambition to be a geologist. While I was pursuing my studies in geology, I went trekking in the mountains for some related research work. Here, I discovered my love for traveling. I moved into the adventure and travel industry after getting hooked on trekking. When I started out, adventure travel was a fairly new concept in Nepalese tourism. But I persisted and my team and I began our travel company in Kathmandu. The ride was not an easy one, but our company has come a long way!
